What Is The ITL CH

Oscar has his Youth Italian Title, here is a brief explanation of how it compares to the AM CH titles he also holds and how it was achieved

To gain points for the Young Ch. Title, you gain 5 points if you are Exc. 1° in an International Show, and 3 points if you are Exc. 1° in National Show or in Breed Specialty Show, no matter how many danes are entered.

For this title there are no limitations about the judges, but it's quite difficult to find the same judge in more than one or two shows within the time period you have to gain the title (from 9 to 18 months). In total you need 30 points.

Oscar sadly only gained his Italian Youth Championship title, read further for the explanation of the Italian Adult title   Oscar was unable to achieve his Adult Ch title simply because he moved to the USA.....

For the Adult title it's quite different: you have to gain  six 1° Exc. CAC, that is to say that you have to win the open class six times and not only you have to be the first, but you have to be Excellent and the judge has to give you the CAC (a special award, just to explain in an easy way).

Of these 6 results, you have to gain at least two of them in an International show, and at least two other of them in a Specialty show.

The judges awarding you with the results have to be not less than 4 different, so you can use the same judge twice not more than two times.

So His titles were won hard and well !
